A testament to babywearing

When my daughter was a baby, she needed to be held. All.The.Time! It was hard, so i learned how to baby wear! As she got heavier, it got harder and harder to find strong wraps to hold her. I kept a little collection of wraps that I would keep and use if I had another baby.

Many years later, I remember my fanaticism with baby wearing and all the fun I had with other moms talking about babywearing. It brightened my spirits when I suffered from ppd (postpartum depression) in a strange way. I ended up bonding with moms that have forever changed me, and with whom we supported one another going through the very stressful times of being moms. I will never forget such a strange time in my life.

Anyways, if you don't believe me about the fanaticism, here are some pictures of the wraps I loved and carried Roslyn in. We had a good time snuggling so close for so much time. Back then we didn’t have selfie sticks so I had a hard time taking a picture of both of us. The picture quality makes me giggle.
